Stenzel's recording alias ACE was given to him by his longtime friend and collaborator Ralph Armand Beck aka. Taucher. The expression was used during a recording session, where Ralph commented on Torsten's production skills with the following expression: "Du bist ein echt Ace" (UK: "You're a real ace").
