About
Being the precursor of a movement in Japan, DJ Sharpnel's roots go all the way back to some of the earliest hardcore techno music released in Japan, and the act has gone on to enjoy worldwide popularity in the hardcore scene, even inspiring the creation of the term "J-Core". DJ Sharpnel's label Sharpnelsound has also hosted artists such as m1dy, M-Project, and The Speed Freak, and formerly managed the Hardrave Radio online radio station. DJ Sharpnel is a group made up of Jea and Lemmy; while Lemmy originally acted as a producer as well, she has transitioned mainly to handling VJ duties for the group's live performances.
