About
started in 1988 at CBS Schallplatten GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany. It was the most successful dance label from a major company in Germany. Right after starting under the name and logo of DANCE POOL it dominated the German sales charts with acts like Mysterious Art, P.M. Sampson and Culture Beat and many others. The founder Stefan Trapp left CBS / Sony Music in 1992. In 1995, Dance Pool expanded to the rest of Europe, Latin America, and Asia, and also included the divisions Epidrome, Deep, and London-based S3. In 1999 this label has been merged with the [b]Sony[/b] subsidaries [b]Epidrome[/b] and [b]Adrenalin (2)[/b] to form [b]Dance Division[/b]. Labelcode [b]LC 6772 / LC 06772[/b]
