Digital Overkill Records Hardcore heritage. Future energy. Digital Overkill Records is a hardcore/gabber label from the Netherlands. Originally active between 1996 and 1999, the label emerged as a prominent force in the underground scene with a raw, uncompromising sound and a clear DIY ethos. It quickly gained recognition through iconic releases like Hardcore With An Attitude (1996), Digital Hardcore Volume 1 (1997), and Gabber 4 Life (1997), featuring a variety of influential artists who helped shape the sound of 90s hardcore. After a 25-year silence, the label was relaunched in 2024 by former Digital Overkill artist R. Verhalle (The Darkcreator) in collaboration with M. Ligtenberg with the same mission: to support fierce, energetic hardcore and gabber productions — both from scene veterans and a new wave of talent. Today, Digital Overkill Records continues to build on its legacy by pushing the boundaries of the harder styles, while staying true to its roots. More than just a label, Digital Overkill represents a culture. A relentless pulse that connects past and present — pure energy, no compromise.
