Fire was founded in 1992 by Maximilian Lenz, Fabian Lenz, William Röttger and Klaus Jankuhn. It was distributed via DMD. [b]DEFUNCT since May 1998[/b]; successor is Nextfire Recordings Name variations: - Fire Records (often used for copyright credits) - Fire Recordings Sleeve history: There exist four label sleeves by Fire. - The black / red one with the black/white letters at the front and black/orange letters at the back. The fax number at the back is ending by 9791. - The red one with the black outlined letters and the white back. The fax number at the front is ending by 3664. - The blue one with the black outlined letters and the white back. The fax number at the front is ending by 3664. - The orange one with yellow/blue letters at the front and the red/black letters at the back. There's no fax or phone number but information about Urban and Motor Music on the back. (That was the last Fire label sleeve.)
