Dutch house, techno and hardcore label founded in 1987 in a joint effort of Hans Tieleman and Rene Bakker to set a new standard for dance-oriented record stores. In 2011 Mid-Town B.V. sold all the rights of its music catalogue to Cloud 9 Dance. On the second of October 2012 Mid-Town Holding, Mid-Town Distribution and Mid-Town Records were declared bankrupt. The company with its stock and labels logos (but without the music catalogue) have been put on auction the same month. The company has not been auctioned in whole but all parts such as the labels have been auctioned separately. On 07-11-2017 Midtown announced on Facebook that they would start releasing again in 2018 15-01-2018 they released [r11425317] Birth-label of the Mid-Town Records BV company. Publishing company is Mid-Town Publishing Holland Distribution company is Mid-Town Distribution Name variations: - Mid-Town Records - Midtown Records - Midtown Records, The Netherlands - Mid Town
