About
Bouncy Techno and Tartan Techno label from Kirkcaldy, Scotland. Founded by DJ ZBD in 1993. The Shoop! face logo was originally used on promotions and mix-tapes for Integration 1991 Turbo Rave at Kirkcaldy Ice Arena and other similar Shoop! events in Fife, a few years before the existence of the label. Very loosely linked to Storm Records Scotland in that the both DJ ZBD and DJ Jackhammer (of Storm Records Scotland) worked at Sleeves Records shop in Kirkcaldy, Fife. Also has a distant cousin label in Poosh (Shoop played backwards) created by Evolution Records shortly after the demise of Shoop!
