About

Former subdivision of Neophyte Records focused towards industrial hardcore techno, darkcore and occasional experimental projects. Managed by Mental Wreckage and Mute., the Symp.tom label ran from 2004 until its unexpected end in 2011, when its mother label Mid-Town Records went bankrupt and auctioned their back catalogue to Cloud 9 Music BV. Worth mentioning are Symp.tom's own spin-off series of the '' compilation CDs (widening the variety with darker material), hosting the Industrial Hardcore Area at Nightmare Outdoor 2009 in Hellendoorn, and hosting the Kapotcast mix series since 2020. In 2017, the label also started up a special sub-series of releases called Revisited: Symp.tom, which so far involved remixes of classic Symp.tom tracks.
