Created in 1992, the record label and company of the independent German legal entity (since January 1997, previously linked to from 1992 to early 1997) with many sub labels. Founded by Bernhard Mikulski, its roots date back to 1971. Since his death his family have taken over management of the company; firstly his wife, and more recently their daughter, (née Mikulski). Releases labelled "ZYX Records" or "ZYX Rec" should be submitted to label . The Label Code: LC 6350 / LC 06350 printed on ZYX Music releases belongs to label . Many records were sold in a generic "I love ZYX" cover instead of a picture cover. For all unofficial releases (bootlegs, counterfeits, pirate compilations) that pretend to be a release of ZYX Music use ZYX Music (2).
