About

Italian DJ-producer (Rome, 13 Feb.,1959, † Tallin, Estonia, 6 Jan.,1998). Co-founder of House of Music with Stefano Zito. Owner of record stores in Rome, as dee-jay he worked at the [Baia Imperiale, Gabicce. DJ-resident at the Seven Up, Formia. which in the 80s was considered the largest disco-club in Europe. The club was the sponsor of the 12" vinyl Heat The Beat sung by Favilli, aka Sal Wood (a), an excellent Italo-Disco tune arranged by Marco Colucci. released by Jumbo Records, the label where Favilli took refuge in 1984 from the overwhelming power of the "major", holding the position as A&R. Few tracks co-produced with Stefano Zito are considered true masterpieces of Italo-Disco genre, much in demand for sampling and reissues. He died prematurely in still mysterious circumstances after 6 days in a coma at age 39).
