About
Deadface is a french Hardcore duo from Grenoble, composed of Travon and Hardmakz. Hardmakz started listening metal , until he discovered Hardcore in 1995 with the famous Tekno Trash Car program. In 1997, he starts making tracks and playing live under the name of Hardmakz. Since 1998, he plays in free parties with the TBF sound-system. His first releases will be on Striking Wave , Curse and b2K, he then plays in places like Strasbourg, Dijon, London… Travon starts listening to Techno music in 1994. In 1996, he starts mixing and his taste for extreme music bring him to Hardcore, with such influences as Micropoint, Manu Le Malin, Liza’N’Eliaz, Laurent Hô, Core tex, and many more … He then starts making tracks with his friend Nico under the name of Heliotrope. His encounter with Hardmakz is an important turn , this one bringing darker sounds. They decide to create Deadface and release their first Eps on Stricking Wave, Psychik genocide and Neurotoxic…
