Dutch gabber/hardcore/techno DJ & producer, born on the 29th of January 1970 in Amsterdam. Daniel Leeflang has been DJing since around 1989 and was a regular DJ at FRD's clubs Planet E, Subtopia, Transit, and Amnesia, as well as Manic Monday with Jeroen Flamman (FRD) at Mazzo and Multigroove, and on the first Hellraiser parties. He used to have a radio show named Acid Explosion (later Grooveyard) on the Amsterdam-based radio pirate Radio 100, from the late '80s until the mid-'90s, where he invited both local and international guests. At Multigroove, he, The Prophet, and Fred Berkhout also came up with the idea for Mokum Records. He states that he made hardcore-like tracks even before the term "hardcore" was coined. He is considered a cult artist due to his crossovers and collaborations with acts like Fear Factory and Herman Brood. Together with Gizmo, Buzz Fuzz, and The Prophet, he was part of The Dreamteam and began producing under the Dreamteam Productions label of ID&T. Today, Dano plays and produces techno alongside a job in construction.
