DJ X-Ess

Martijn Mobron a.k.a DJ X-ess started his career in 1995 as a resident-DJ of the "Swing", a club in Apeldoorn. In the beginning of 1996 things changed rapidly for X-ess when he started as A&R manager (Artist & Repetoire) at Hollands biggest independent label: ID&T Music. During the following four years DJ X-ess played at most major parties throughout Europe: Thunderdome, Mysteryland, Energy, Global Hardcore Nation, etc. In the year 2001 Martijn decided, together with his friend and colleague DJ Promo, to start his own independent label: The Third Movement. The label has been focussing rather on creative output than on commercial success, giving new artists a chance to experiment and test their style. In 2004 he, and Bart Kok (Catscan) left The Third Movement to start their own new label, Pro Artist Management.
