Faderhuset

Faderhuset (the "Father's House") was a short-lived Danish pseudonymous experimental band active circa 2007–2008 — effectively, a side-project of breakcore duo Albertslund Terror Korps, which performed a similar fact-paced fusion of drill'n'bass, gabber, happy hardcore and other ultrahigh-BPM genres enhanced with distorted sped-up vocals. Faderhuset had an extremely provocative artistic image, sporting grotesque facial masks and massive Christian crosses and heavily mocking religious themes and Christianity in lyrics and song titles. This concept and the band's name referred to an infamous Danish evangelical Christian free church, "Faderhuset," established in the early 1990s by Knut and Ruth Evensen. In March 2007, the religious group acquired a prominent youth cultural center, Ungdomshuset, in Copenhagen, leading to a devastating standoff between police and left-wing squatters occupying the building. Several months later, in July 2007, Ruth Evensen launched the Freedom Party, an extremist right-wing Christian organization.
