Re-Charge originally consisted of 3 DJ's from Breda (Holland) who appeared together on a few parties under the name Re-Charge. DJ Weirdo, founder of the Bad Vibes label happened to be on one of these parties and asked the boys to do a 12" for his label Bad Vibes Records. [r=66028] was their first 12". They later were booked for live performances in Germany and decided to do a follow-up: the High Energy E.P. Berry Verschuren continued Re-Charge as a solo project in 1999.
