Rory Sweeney is a filmmaker and musician based in Dublin. A prolific artist who is known for his eclectic style, his music can range from ambient to jungle to trap and more, sometimes on the same track, his atmospheric and off kilter production shining through on all. He has performed with Julia Louise Knifefist (frequent collaborator), Acid Granny, Fomorian Vein, E M A, Baliboc, sohotsospicy, Toké O’Drift and Armed Response Unit. He has done guest mixes for Kate Butler’s ‘Atomic Radio’ show on Dublin Digital Radio (DDR), Wriggle on RTÉ Pulse, Don Rosco’s ‘Burn Em All’ on DDR and Repeater Radio on DDR. Hs work is featured on the first Bitten Twice VA, Roo Honeychild’s “currents” playlists, the upcoming Patrúin compilation, DJ Shampain’s Rinse FM show, Maria Somerville’s NTS show and more to come.
