Bass Generator Records was originally created/controlled by the DJ Bass Generator. Record shops named "Bass Generator Records" operated in both Newcastle and Edinburgh in the 1990's. The label is now under new management and has seen a lot of restructuring in order to bring it up to date. It has its own internet radio station and two sub-labels; namely Bass Generator Records Digital and Hardbox Records.
